Natural Henna:

As each of the names imply, the particular variety gives a colour, which is in line with the description. The colour obtained may vary according to the original colour of the hair, the method of application followed and the duration for which henna is left on hair.

All of these are 100% natural products and do not contain any chemicals.

Herbal Henna:
After understanding the requirements of the market another variant of Natural Henna was developed. In trade it is known as Herbal Henna and is a product made by mixing Dark Red Henna Powder with 14 exclusive Himalayan herbs like Anwala (Emblie Myrobalan), Brahmi (Indian Pennywort), Baal Chhad (Spikenard), Harad (Black Myrobolan), Bhringraj (Traling Eclipta), etc. all known for their wonderful hair enriching and hair conditioning qualities.

This is a rich herbal treat for hair as the natural protein and mineral contents nourish scalp, retard hair loss and restore damaged hair. It prevents and cures split ends and promotes growth of healthy hair. This Henna gives a colour that is slightly lighter than the colour given by Dark Red Henna.

METHOD OF USE FOR 100% NATURAL HENNA POWDERS (DARK RED, RED, ORANGE, YELLOW) AND HERBAL HENNA

Take the required amount of henna powder in a bowl For average shoulder length hair, about 100 gms of henna is sufficient. Add hot water to the powder in the ratio 1:3 i.e.,to 100 grams Henna Powder add 300 ml.of water. Mix well to make a smooth paste. Keep the paste aside for 2 hours and in the meanwhile, shampoo and dry the hair. Apply on hair using a brush or fine comb. Ensure that it covers the hair properly from roots to tip. Keep the paste on hair for 2 hours and then wash with water. Your hair will display a beautiful colouration. If possible, avoid using shampoo for the first 4-5 hours after dyeing, as the colour of henna will get stronger during this time. Shampoo can be used thereafter.

METHOD OF USE FOR HENNA BASED HAIR COLOUR

Take the henna hair colour powder in a bowl and add water i.e, 3 times it's weight. Mix well to make a smooth paste. Immediately apply the paste on hair using a brush or a fine comb. Ensure that all hair is covered properly from roots to tip. Keep the paste on hair for 30 minutes and then wash with water and shampoo. Beautiful colour will be obtained.

Colourless Hair Conditioning Henna
As the name implies, this henna does not give any colour on hair after application but has all the other hair conditioning & hair nourishing qualities of henna. In trade circles it is more popularly known as “Neutral Henna”. It can be used even on dyed hair without disturbing the existing hair colour.

Moreover, it is being used as an active raw material in preparation of hair shampoos, hairs gels, hair creams etc., due to its unique non-colouring, hair-conditioning properties.

Henna for Body:

“Mehandi” is the art of body decoration by creating henna tattoos on skin. It is ethnic, fun and gives gorgeous looks.

Henna’s original application was for body decoration and many societies in the Middle East and African regions believed it to be a good omen. Today, this art has caught fancy of the western world where people are using henna for drawing temporary tattoos on various body parts.

Use of natural henna on skin is totally harmless and safe. The main benefit of making henna tattoos is that they are temporary and fade away with time. Hence, it leaves room for experimenting with new designs.

Please keep it in mind that 100% Natural Henna upon application on skin, can only give red tone ranging from orange-red to rich maroon, depending upon the skin type, method of application followed and the duration for which the henna paste is allowed to remain in contact with skin. The longer the time for which henna remains in contact with the skin, the deeper will be the colour obtained.

Natural Henna can give only red colour shades on skin. It cannot give colours like black, blue, violet, green, purple, etc. Please beware and do not use tattoo products that are described as Henna and claim to give colours like black, blue, violet, green, purple, etc., as they are not Henna but contain harsh chemicals, which can cause severe skin allergies.
